Maintenance Technician – Broadstone Ayrsley

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Broadstone Ayrsley community in Charlotte, NC. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
• Attention to detail in inspections and documentation.
