Maintenance Technician – Avana Springs

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day operations of a stabilized 320‑unit community in Avana Springs. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, adhering to safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process: inspect vacant apartments, create punch lists, schedule vendors, procure supplies, perform repairs, and verify completed work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately in the property management system.
• Assist with routine upkeep of common areas, amenities, and building systems.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Comfortable using property management software for work orders and inspections.
• Willingness to work on‑call schedule, Tuesday‑Saturday, 9 am‑6 pm.
