Maintenance Technician – Aspen Ridge

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Aspen Ridge community in Reno. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety protocols, and documentation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.
