Maintenance Technician – Alta Rochelle

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at the Alta Rochelle property in Nashville. The role involves ensuring that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality during the lease‑up phase of this 356‑unit mid‑rise community.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document work orders and paperwork accurately and promptly for tracking purposes.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work in a residential property environment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and make‑ready procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and procedural guidelines.
• Capability to manage inventory and coordinate with vendors.
