Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

About the role

ABB is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its 3rd shift in Jonesboro, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The role supports the Maintenance team by carrying out work according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures, while improving the efficiency of equipment and the production line. It is an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed to meet customer demand. The position is safety sensitive under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and breakdowns.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and log them in a digital CMMS system.
• Report recurring problems with machinery and equipment.
• Document problems with parts that can be identified and addressed.
• Set calibration and adjust equipment, machinery and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Four to six years of mechanical experience and/or a state license, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of college or technical school certificate and/or a state license.
