Maintenance Technician – 11th & Spruce

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the 11th & Spruce property in St. Louis. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all work orders and service requests.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• Ability to perform a variety of mechanical and technical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Good organizational skills for inventory tracking and scheduling vendor work.
• Willingness to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
