Maintenance Technician – 1188 Mission St

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at the 1188 Mission St property in San Francisco. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and completing all maintenance tasks before new move‑ins.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with relatable maintenance experience.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, with on‑call duties.
