Maintenance Supervisor – Trailside NoDa Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Trailside NoDa community in Charlotte meets Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This position oversees technical and mechanical work across buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, while managing day‑to‑day maintenance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs following company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Lead the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply ordering, task completion, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, and parking lots.
• Periodically inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope, and specifications.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials; collaborate with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.

Required profile

• Experience performing and supervising property maintenance and mechanical work.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventories, and vendor relationships.
• Capability to develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards across a residential community.
