Maintenance Supervisor – The Airedale

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time onsite position involves overseeing work orders, make‑ready processes and preventative maintenance at The Airedale.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair resident‑reported issues, complete work orders and perform routine upkeep in compliance with safety codes.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, exteriors, signage, parking areas and common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies within budget and execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience; background in property‑management or building maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices safely.
• Strong logical problem‑solving skills and proficiency in customer service and communication.
• Basic computer literacy with experience in internet, word processing, spreadsheets and property‑management systems (preferred).

Required skills

• EPA Type I and II (or Universal) certification for HVAC work.
• HVAC system maintenance and refrigerant handling.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, MSDS documentation and safety meeting facilitation.

What we offer

• Hourly pay range $34.00 – $36.00.
• Full‑time permanent position with on‑call rotation.
