Maintenance Supervisor – McAlpine Vista

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of McAlpine Vista, a 320‑unit garden‑style community in Charlotte, NC. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and diagnose defects in building systems.
• Execute repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and applicable codes.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process, preparing vacant apartments for new move‑ins.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
• Maintain a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising maintenance operations in residential or commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations and code compliance.
• Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with residents and management.
