Maintenance Supervisor – Halden

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior building components, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of service requests and preventative maintenance programs.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, amenities, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multi‑unit residential settings.
• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and implement effective repairs.
• Experience coordinating vendors, managing inventories, and overseeing make‑ready processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with community staff and external service providers.
