Maintenance Supervisor – Griffin Weston Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Griffin Weston community remains safe, functional, and visually appealing. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Lead the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by internal service staff and external contractors to ensure compliance with policies, quality expectations, and specifications.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to order materials within budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Strong supervisory skills to guide maintenance staff and manage vendor relationships.
• Attention to detail for developing standards and conducting inspections.
• Ability to manage inventory and coordinate supply orders effectively.
