Maintenance Supervisor for The Sagewood Community

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep of The Sagewood, a garden‑style community of 278 units in Charlotte, NC. The role ensures that all building interiors, exteriors, grounds and common‑area amenities meet Greystar’s high standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, ordering supplies and completing all necessary maintenance tasks before new move‑ins.
• Develop and enforce standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies while staying within budget.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multi‑unit residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, mechanical and electrical components, and relevant safety codes.
• Ability to lead a maintenance team, coordinate vendors and manage work orders efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
