Maintenance Supervisor – Encore Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all technical and mechanical work for the Encore community, ensuring that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position reports to the Community Manager and works closely with vendors and the internal service team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose defects, and perform repairs in accordance with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a mid‑rise residential setting.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and preventive maintenance best practices.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple vendors and lead a small maintenance team.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
