Maintenance Supervisor – Downtown Los Angeles

About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, on‑site position supports a stabilized property of up to 400 units in downtown Los Angeles.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across the building, grounds, and amenities.
- Assist with and complete work orders generated from resident requests and routine upkeep.
- Diagnose the source of defects or problems and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Manage the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
- Provide on‑call support and be available for weekend duties as required.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or technical issues efficiently.
- Willingness to be on‑call and work weekends when needed.
- Strong knowledge of safety and building code compliance.
