Maintenance Supervisor – Apex Marathon Village

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that the interior and exterior of Apex Marathon Village, its grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership in a stabilized, mid‑rise community.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, procuring supplies, completing maintenance tasks and inspecting finished work.
• Develop and maintain standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, common areas and market‑ready unit interiors.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope and specifications, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budgetary guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property maintenance and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes and preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to manage vendors, schedule work and oversee a team of maintenance staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
