Maintenance Reliability Planner

About the role

The Maintenance Reliability Planner develops, coordinates and optimizes maintenance plans that maximize equipment reliability, safety and production uptime. The role is the primary administrator of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and supports asset management through Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles, preventive maintenance optimization and continuous improvement. It is a full-time (minimum 40 hours per week), on-site position in Coshocton, Ohio.

Key responsibilities

• Maintenance planning and scheduling: build detailed job plans, schedule preventive, predictive, corrective and shutdown work, create work packages, monitor the work order backlog and support outage and shutdown planning.
• CMMS administration: maintain equipment hierarchies, asset records, BOMs and PM programs, document and close work orders accurately, develop performance reports and dashboards, train staff and audit data quality.
• Inventory coordination: partner with storeroom on spare parts levels, manage spare parts strategies, verify material availability before scheduling work and help with cycle counts and obsolete inventory reduction.
• Continuous improvement: reduce reactive maintenance and costs, support Lean Manufacturing, TPM and KPI monitoring, and take part in root cause failure analysis and capital projects.
• Supervisory duties: plan and manage contract work within the plant.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination; 10+ years in an industrial environment, or asset management experience preferred.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, preferably a foundry or steel mill.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, delegate and prioritize work, and to communicate with all levels of employees and contractors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, MS Office (word processing, email, databases, spreadsheets).
• CMMS administration experience.
