Maintenance Planner

About the role

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating all plant maintenance activities and related purchasing functions. Working closely with the maintenance team, this role balances hands‑on execution with strategic planning to keep the facility running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute plant maintenance work.
• Administer work orders, source parts, build kits, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Support Maintenance Management software (IFS) operations and data integrity.
• Coordinate purchasing activities that impact maintenance operations.
• Maintain appropriate spare‑parts and consumable inventory levels.
• Provide training to employees on maintenance fundamentals and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of maintenance tools and techniques.
• Ability to act as a player‑coach within the maintenance team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IFS Maintenance Management software.
