Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support the installation, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of equipment and instrumentation used in the unloading, loading, transfer and storage of bulk materials at our terminal facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on bulk‑material handling equipment, bagging and storage systems under periodic supervision.
• Complete maintenance inspections, checklists and documentation.
• Participate in safety and environmental training, attend daily briefings and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain housekeeping of terminal grounds and basic equipment upkeep.
• Execute operational tasks related to material transfer, bagging and storage as assigned.
• Provide additional terminal functions and duties as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; 1‑3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, welding or diesel engine maintenance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
• Good oral and written communication skills and ability to work under supervision.
• Willingness to work extended hours, nights, weekends and be on 24‑hour call‑in.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather, at heights over 80 ft, and lift up to 50 lb.
