Maintenance Intern

About the role

The Maintenance Intern will support the maintenance department in a manufacturing environment, gaining hands‑on experience with equipment management, data entry, and cross‑functional coordination. This full‑time summer internship runs through mid‑August and offers exposure to both administrative and basic maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team with equipment maintenance activities and departmental support tasks as directed.
• Coordinate communication and critical information within the maintenance department and across cross‑functional teams.
• Help the Maintenance Manager and Lead with planning, execution, tracking, and completion of maintenance‑related projects.
• Support asset and equipment record management by entering data, updating work instructions, and assisting in sourcing repair parts.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as using hand tools, changing filters, and supporting preventative maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn maintenance systems, processes, and equipment.
• Currently enrolled in a technical program; prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
