Site Quality Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead the quality function at its Salt Lake City Circuit Card Assembly facility. The role combines leadership of a multidisciplinary quality team with hands‑on responsibility for driving quality excellence, process reliability and on‑time delivery in a lean, continuous‑improvement environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site quality organization, supervising supervisors, engineers, technicians and inspectors.
• Develop, maintain and enforce quality control procedures, inspection and sampling plans.
• Drive a culture of quality, ensuring adherence to the quality management system and a right‑first‑time mindset.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and corrective actions using 8D, DMAIC and 5 Whys.
• Maintain compliance with industry and customer standards such as IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001 and AS9100.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, program management and design engineering to resolve issues.

Required profile

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in electronics/CCA assembly with AS9100 quality system exposure.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and ESD control practices.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with SPC, DOE and process capability analysis.
