Main Line Automotive Technician

About the role

BMW CPO Nashville is seeking a Main Line Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The role includes supervising apprentice technicians and ensuring high‑quality service for BMW customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive repair orders, diagnose issues, and complete repairs efficiently.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain required components.
• Tag and save warranty parts as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service work and inform the service advisor.
• Document all work performed and road‑test vehicles when required.
• Supervise and mentor apprentice technicians.
• Attend factory‑sponsored training and stay current with technical bulletins.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and adhere to safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Certified BMW technician or equivalent automotive certification.
• Ability to follow dealer and factory repair procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to mentor apprentices and participate in ongoing training.
