Machine Operator – Packaging

About the role

Cresco Labs is seeking a Machine Operator to join its Packaging team in Yellow Springs, OH. Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, the incumbent will produce and package preroll SKUs and may cross‑train on additional automation lines such as the Hightek flower line and Keepac edible poucher.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and clean RollPros Blackbird and related packaging equipment, ensuring safe and sanitary production.
• Monitor equipment, product flow, film, labels, and packaging, removing defective units and reworking as needed.
• Maintain visual checks on all areas, report discrepancies to the Supervisor, and adjust processes to meet quality specifications.
• Perform facility cleaning duties, adhere to GMP standards, and follow personal hygiene protocols.
• Conduct audits of work‑in‑progress and finished goods, complete manufacturing and labeling forms, and track inventory counts.
• Monitor consumable levels and notify the Supervisor when reorders are required.

Required profile

• Experience in a regulated environment with strict health and safety policies, preferably producing consumable products.
• Strong task‑management ability, capable of multitasking and following detailed procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment and stand for at least 8 hours while lifting up to 50 lb.
• Effective communication, attention to detail, and logical troubleshooting skills.
• Capability to read and apply information from PLC displays, machinery dials, and measurement devices.
