About the role
ABB's Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas & Betts) is hiring a Machine Operator in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The position reports to the Operations Manager and is onsite, working 10-hour shifts Monday to Thursday with overtime as needed to meet customer demand. It is a safety-sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.
Key responsibilities
- Read work orders or follow oral instructions to identify the materials or containers to be moved.
- Open containers.
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 1 to 3 months of related experience, training or a combination of both.
- Able to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Able to present information to individuals, groups or clients by report or correspondence.
- Work authorization to work for ABB in the U.S.; sponsorship is not offered.
