Machine Operator

About the role

The Machine Operator is responsible for running blow‑mold, PET, and injection molding equipment, as well as grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems on a 1st‑shift schedule. The role ensures continuous production while adhering to safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key responsibilities

• Operate blow‑mold, PET, and injection molding machines to produce quality bottles.
• Perform routine inspections, drop tests, and quality checks during production.
• Troubleshoot process problems and execute minor repairs on equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on molds, necks, blow pins, and related mechanical components.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and monitor packaging material levels.
• Document daily production data, rejects, line efficiencies, and maintenance requests.
• Escalate any bottle abnormalities or quality issues immediately.

Required profile

• Demonstrates safe work practices and wears required PPE.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work the assigned 8‑hour shift.
• Team‑oriented with a willingness to participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Follows company manufacturing policies and regulatory safety standards.
