Machine Learning Engineer - Behavior and Planning

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer focused on behavior prediction and planning for autonomous systems. You will develop ML‑first modules that anticipate the trajectories and interactions of road users, directly influencing the safety and efficiency of self‑driving vehicles across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Prototype, evaluate, and deploy state‑of‑the‑art ML algorithms that generate driving trajectories for autonomous vehicles and other road participants.
• Collaborate with perception teams to create high‑quality training data and with planning teams to integrate ML‑based planners.
• Leverage Applied Intuition’s existing products to build the software and infrastructure foundation for behavior‑specific ML development.
• Work with research groups on cutting‑edge architectures and techniques, ensuring continuous innovation.

Required profile

• Strong background in machine learning applied to autonomous vehicle behavior and planning.
• Experience collaborating across perception, planning, and research teams.
