Luxury Pool Start-Up Technician

About the role

Join Aqua Blue Pools as a Start‑Up Technician, the final on‑site specialist who ensures new luxury pools are clean, chemically balanced, and fully operational before handoff to homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, calibrate, and program pool automation systems, timers, valves, heaters, and chemistry controllers.
• Test all pool equipment, troubleshoot issues, and work with vendor reps such as Pentair and Hayward.
• Perform comprehensive pool cleaning—including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and filter maintenance.
• Monitor and adjust water chemistry (pH, chlorine, etc.) and document any plaster issues with photos.
• Conduct homeowner orientations, teaching use of automation apps, lighting, heating, and filtration schedules.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work vehicle, manage inventory, and report vehicle or supply needs.
• Document equipment settings, serial numbers, site conditions, and upload records via the company app.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused and personable with strong communication skills.
• Technically and mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting pool equipment.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to document work accurately.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and able to manage daily schedule without direct supervision.
• Physically active, able to work outdoors performing manual tasks and heavy lifting.
