About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse will support the Rheumatology and Orthopaedics teams at Martin Hospital South, providing high‑quality patient care in a 100‑bed facility. The role involves day‑shift work from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, floating between the Tradition and South MOB units.

Key responsibilities

Room patients, process in‑basket items and perform administrative tasks.
Administer medication, complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
Implement pain‑management assessments, document accurately, and report status changes to the Charge Nurse or physicians.
Educate patients and families, follow JCAHO safety goals and Code Blue protocol.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited LPN program and Florida LPN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
One year of clinical experience (preferred).
Knowledge of infection‑control practices and ability to work with technology.
