Loop Leader – Production Improvement

About the role

Moog is seeking a Loop Leader to drive tactical execution of Value Stream Improvement Plans and ensure on‑time delivery of quality products. The role connects upstream and downstream processes across production areas and external suppliers, coordinating priorities and product flow within defined loops.

Key responsibilities

• Execute value‑stream activities based on defined improvement plans, supporting on‑time delivery of quality products.
• Coordinate priorities and product flow between upstream and downstream processes, escalating and resolving issues as needed.
• Manage schedule adherence within assigned loops.
• Facilitate and attend Tier meetings and participate in Lean events.
• Develop and follow individual Leader Standard Work and support additional value‑stream or customer‑focused activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of production or manufacturing experience (or equivalent).
• Advanced knowledge of machining, assembly, test and production processes.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end process flow and its impact on metrics.
• Solid foundation in lean infrastructure and leadership, modeling best practices for the work area.
• Proficiency in structured problem‑solving methodologies (A3, 5 Why, 8D, Production Pareto, RC/CA).
• Ability to facilitate and influence cross‑functional teams toward consensus and action.
