Long-Term Spanish Substitute Teacher

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Spanish teacher to serve as a long‑term substitute for the upcoming academic year. The assignment runs from early September 2026 through the end of March 2027, providing continuity of instruction for middle and high school students.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Spanish language lessons to students in grades 7‑12 (and optionally grades 5‑6) according to the district curriculum.
- Maintain classroom order and follow established school policies during the substitution period.
- Assess student progress and record attendance as required.
Required profile
- Valid New York State certification for Spanish 7‑12 (or Spanish 7‑12 & 5‑6 extended) as indicated by certification codes 5150 or 5431.
- Availability to start on September 8, 2026 and work through March 31, 2027.
- Willingness to accept the daily rate of $253.91 with no additional benefits.
