Long-term Health & Safety Internship

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a multi‑semester intern to support its Occupational Health & Safety team in Grand Prairie, Texas. You will work closely with the Health & Safety Manager, helping to maintain and improve safety programs across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for health and safety activities (≈60% of time).
• Assist with safety program coordination, event planning, and compliance audits.
• Support Safety Management System (SMS) implementation, tracking performance metrics and dashboards.
• Help develop and deliver safety training, manage bulletin boards, and support the Safety Ambassador Program.
• Perform data‑analytics tasks to monitor H&S metrics and generate reports.

Required profile

• Currently residing in the DFW metro area and able to work onsite for multiple semesters.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program related to occupational health, safety, engineering, or a similar field.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to handle data‑driven tasks.
