Logistics Specialist - LTL

About the role

As a Logistics Specialist focused on Less‑Than‑Truckload (LTL) accounts, you will manage daily operations, coordinate shipments, and ensure profitable carrier selection. You will act as a key liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily operations for assigned LTL accounts, aligning with growth strategies and contractual agreements.
• Track customer shipments, monitor load board activity, and guarantee proper coverage and service.
• Communicate promptly with internal teams and external customers using appropriate channels.
• Handle freight classification, provide accurate pricing for quote requests, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve shipment issues such as delays, discrepancies, or damages.
• Develop strong relationships with customer contacts, facilities, carrier representatives, managers, and sales teams.
• Assess high‑volume customers for potential customer‑specific pricing.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of logistics experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram instructions.
