Logistics Project Manager

About the role

The Logistics Project Manager provides direct support to NSWG8 / LOGSU8, managing logistics planning, testing, and deployment activities that enhance alternative transportation capabilities for Naval Special Warfare operations. This role serves as the primary logistics advisor, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations and maintaining operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, test, and manage alternate transportation and deployment methods for Naval Special Warfare operations.
• Provide technical logistics expertise and ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and USSOCOM regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate logistical and operational risks.
• Develop training plans, mentor LOGSU‑8 personnel, and maintain SOPs and lessons‑learned documentation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inventory management, and support both CONUS and OCONUS mission requirements.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance and a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Minimum five years of experience supporting Naval Special Warfare logistics, including SDVT‑1 and LOGSU‑8 operations.
• Proven ability to manage resources, schedules, budgets, and logistics execution in high‑tempo environments.
• Experience advising senior military and civilian leadership and complying with OPSEC, CUI, and IT security policies.
