Logistics Operator Night Shift

About the role

This entry‑level night‑shift position supports the Solar Pile fabrication facility by handling material movement, loading and unloading, and ensuring smooth production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large forklifts, overhead cranes and other mobile equipment safely, performing pre‑use inspections and routine care.
• Load and unload conveyor systems, mill material, and finished product according to the production schedule.
• Maintain accurate production records using paper forms, scanning guns, tablets or computers.
• Assist with inventory management, counting bundles, validating locations and restocking as needed.
• Perform visual quality checks on bar specifications such as paint color, squareness, length and cuts.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic written and verbal English skills and general math ability.
• 1‑2 years of mobile equipment experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, stand, squat, bend and work in high‑temperature, noisy environments.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (large industrial forklifts).
• Overhead crane operation.
• Use of mobile material‑handling equipment.
