Logistics Manager

About the role

Tube Supply is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead fleet and logistics operations across all locations. Based in Houston, you will ensure consistent execution of our logistics strategy while supporting the oil and gas industry’s demanding environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead traffic departments for all sites, establishing accountability and reporting cadence.
• Oversee routing, scheduling, dispatch and utilization of the company fleet, monitoring on‑time delivery, cost per mile and utilization.
• Manage driver performance, safety culture, hiring, training and compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Direct inbound, outbound and inter‑company freight, carrier relationships, rates and service performance.
• Supervise preventative maintenance programs, fleet lifecycle planning and capital budgeting for trucks, trailers and equipment.
• Track and report KPIs such as cost per mile, OTD, fleet utilization and safety metrics, implementing corrective actions.
• Control logistics budgets, identify cost‑reduction opportunities and align with financial targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet, logistics or transportation management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑site operations and lead teams.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and related regulatory requirements.
