Logistics Coordinator (M-F 1st Shift)

About the role

Oerlikon is looking for a Logistics Coordinator for its Plymouth facility, working Monday to Friday on the first shift. The role covers receiving, verifying and processing incoming shipments, preparing products for shipment and coordinating with shipping companies for timely pickups and deliveries, while keeping the warehouse of raw materials and finished goods organized.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to receive, ship, load, unload, move and store products and materials, keeping them undamaged and accurately accounted for.
• Read work orders and oral instructions to determine work assignments and material or equipment needs.
• Maintain organization of raw and finished goods in the warehouse.
• Assist in quarterly and yearly inventory counts.
• Perform other duties assigned that support the department, team and mission.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; industrial or trade school training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• 3-5 years of material handling or warehouse experience, including picking, packing and putting away materials in a production environment.
• Technologically inclined and willing to work overtime during peak periods.
• Ability to comply with ISO requirements and other regulations, with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• General computer proficiency, including Windows, Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions in English.
