About the role

Stability Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week local contract in the Med‑Surg unit of a hospital in Palestine, Texas. The position works 12‑hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, providing essential care to patients transitioning from ICU or post‑surgery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical‑surgical patients during night shifts.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions from critical care to Med‑Surg.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Texas.
• Experience in Med‑Surg nursing, preferably with exposure to post‑operative and step‑down care.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour night shifts for the duration of the contract.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
