About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week local contract in the Medical‑Surgical unit of a hospital in Palestine, Texas. The role is full‑time, 36 hours per week, with 12‑hour night shifts, offering a competitive hourly rate of $37‑44.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Med‑Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform IV therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and code situations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and patient‑focused bedside environment.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Texas.
• Experience in Medical‑Surgical nursing preferred.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour night shifts for the contract duration.
• Ability to commit to a 13‑week assignment (36 hrs/week).
