Lobby Attendant (Public Space House Person)

About the role

The Lobby Attendant, also referred to as a Public Space House Person, ensures that all lobby areas, public restrooms, and other high‑traffic spaces are clean, welcoming, and safe for guests and staff. This position supports room‑attendant duties when needed and contributes to the overall guest experience through attentive service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in lobby areas, public restrooms, stairwells, and corridors.
• Perform special cleaning assignments and assist with guestroom cleaning procedures as required.
• Handle Lost & Found items according to hotel policy.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Deliver clean linen to assigned sections and collect dirty linen or trash from rooms and service landings.
• Vacuum guest corridors, keep hallways, closets, and public areas organized, and manage trash disposal in outside dumpsters.
• Keep ash urns clean and stocked with sand.
