Loader Supervisor

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking an experienced Loader Supervisor to manage outbound dock and dispatch operations at its Milwaukee service center. The role involves coordinating drivers, freight handlers, and ensuring safe, efficient handling of LTL loads.

Key responsibilities

• Manage drivers and freight handlers, overseeing daily activities.
• Coordinate dock operations and schedule driver/freight handler assignments.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to quality freight‑handling procedures.
• Dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Required profile

• Proven basic leadership experience.
• Ability to lead in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication and logistical skills with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling (preferred).
• Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred.
