Loader Operator

About the role
Granite Construction is seeking a reliable Loader Operator to join its team. You will operate a front‑end loader to move bulk materials, support construction activities, and ensure efficient material handling on site.
Key responsibilities
- Start the loader, shift gears, and operate controls to move the vehicle safely.
- Lower, tilt, and raise the bucket to load bulk material and transport it to designated areas.
- Dump material into trucks, hoppers, conveyors, or chutes as required.
- Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning the equipment.
Required profile
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Proper certification for operating heavy equipment.
- Relevant training and experience with front‑end loaders.
- Ability to work in dusty or dirty environments and follow safety procedures.
- Physical ability to stoop, bend, lift up to 50 lb, and handle frequent lifting of 25 lb.
