Litigation Support Specialist

About the role

The law firm of Marshall Dennehey is seeking a full‑time Litigation Support Specialist for its Jacksonville office. The role provides essential administrative and operational assistance to attorneys and legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings and correspondence.
• Manage case files, electronic and physical records, and track deadlines and court appearances.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to schedule appointments and relay case updates.
• Provide administrative support including calendar management, meeting scheduling, expense reporting, and call handling.
• Record billable hours, assist with vendor invoice processing, and prepare court filings as directed.
• Utilize legal software and e‑discovery tools for document management and case tracking.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet multiple deadlines, and work under pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Discretion and respect for confidentiality of sensitive information.
