Lift Operator

About the role

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Lift Operator for Homewood Mountain & Lake Club on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. The role involves safely operating chairlifts, assisting guests, and preserving a high-quality experience throughout the ski season.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure lift loading and unloading areas are clear, smooth, and ready for guests.
• Set up and maintain appropriate signage and mazes based on daily demand.
• Load and unload guests attentively, providing extra assistance to children and guests with accessibility needs.
• Perform snow removal and other lift‑related duties as required.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Lift & Gondola Operations Department.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods and lift items up to 50 lb.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and ability to stay calm during busy periods.
