Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Instructor

About the role

The LPN Instructor provides classroom and clinical lab instruction to nursing students, develops curricula, and evaluates student progress. This full‑time position supports the college’s mission to deliver high‑quality nursing education.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, syllabi, and assessments for all phases of the LPN curriculum.
• Maintain accurate grade books, student records, and inventory of instructional materials.
• Assist the Program Director with budgeting, equipment procurement, and accreditation documentation.
• Travel to multiple campus sites and clinical locations as needed to support instructional requirements.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited RN program.
• Active Georgia RN license in good standing.
• Minimum three years of recent nursing practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in nursing clinical procedures and current best practices.
• Effective oral and written communication for teaching and documentation.
