About the role

Join the Allergy Clinic team in Baton Rouge as a Licensed Practical Nurse, providing direct patient care including IV therapy. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, personalized care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including IV therapy, following the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Assist and direct ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties.
• Adapt quickly to changing unit needs and maintain documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain and update clinical knowledge, certifications, and credentials.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local healthcare laws and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; IV therapy credentials are preferred.
