Licensed Massage Therapist (PRN)

About the role

AdventHealth Imaging is hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Orlando, Florida. The position is based at 600 Courtland Street but requires travel throughout Central Florida to attend events as needed, on a PRN schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and adapt individualized treatment plans, including goal setting, treatment activities and frequency.
• Document all proceedings accurately and record medical history in notes and forms at the time of occurrence.
• Maintain productivity standards and market the massage program in the hospital, community and to medical personnel.
• Monitor and communicate supply needs to the designated person and keep equipment and work areas clean and stocked.
• Assist with business office and tech duties as required.
• Use knowledge of growth and development to assess, treat, educate and communicate with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric clients.
• Discharge patients when maximum benefit is achieved or according to practice and payer guidelines, charge patients accurately and perform evaluations and re-evaluations.

Required profile

• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification.
• Technical/vocational school in Massage Therapy.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand conversational English.
• Preferred: 1+ year of massage therapy experience in a licensed environment.

Required skills

• Entry-level clinical competency in massage therapy, including its practice, theory, principles and application.
• Basic computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft Office and Windows.

Pay range: $20.58 - $32.92. Florida Level 2 background screening applies.
