Legal Specialist – Remote (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. The role focuses on reviewing and improving commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with employment, finance, and data‑privacy regulations. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and redline commercial contracts to align with legal standards and business goals.
• Provide expert advice on employment law, structured finance, private equity, and M&A transactions.
• Evaluate SaaS Master Service Agreements (MSAs) for risk and recommend enhancements.
• Interpret and implement regulatory requirements, shaping internal compliance guidelines.
• Assess data‑privacy policies against international standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to clarify legal concepts and deliver written feedback.

Required profile

• Active Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum years of practice with a proven track record in commercial contracts, employment law, and structured finance.
• Deep knowledge of private equity, M&A, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong contract redlining and negotiation skills with high attention to detail.
• Hands‑on experience with SaaS MSAs and data‑privacy matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
