Litigation Associate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Associate to join our growing civil litigation practice in New York City. This hands‑on role offers substantial responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and direct courtroom exposure from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, affidavits, and other court submissions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Manage discovery and prepare deposition materials.
• Assist with hearings and trials, including electronic filings.
• Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, and communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
• 1–3 years of post‑bar litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, New York CPLR, Federal Rules of Evidence, and local court rules.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Professional communication and client management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced litigation environment.
