Legal Editor – AI‑Assisted Content Review

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Editor to review, edit, and audit legal opinions and case‑law content generated through AI‑assisted processes. The role ensures legal accuracy, proper precedent analysis, and high‑quality editorial output while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze legal documents to identify key issues and determine precedential relationships between cases and statutes.
• Apply approved history and treatment letters and phrases in line with Legal Editing Guidelines.
• Review and validate history and treatment lettering against source material for accuracy.
• Identify and correct gaps, inconsistencies, or misinterpretations in AI‑generated output.
• Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Verify history chains and treatment relationships using designated tools and workflows.
• Resolve complex editorial and legal analysis questions and suggest workflow improvements.

Required profile

• JD, LLB, or LLM degree.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing abilities.
• Ability to interpret and apply legal precedent and editorial guidelines.
• Excellent reading comprehension and issue‑spotting skills.
• Self‑directed work style with sound judgment and escalation when needed.
• Experience in remote or distributed team environments.

• Base pay range $53,900 – $89,800 (U.S. market).
