Lecturer in Psychology (School Psychology focus)

About the role

Eastern Washington University’s School of Psychology seeks a full‑time Lecturer to teach undergraduate and graduate courses with an emphasis on School Psychology. The appointment begins September 16, 2026 and is renewable annually.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate psychology courses, including introductory, developmental, research methods, and specialized School Psychology classes.
• Advise students and supervise practicum, internship, research, and portfolio projects.
• Collect, retain, and report course and program data for accreditation and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development, classroom instruction, and student supervision.
• Participate in School, College, and University meetings, retreats, and graduation ceremonies.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Psychology with expertise in School Psychology or a closely related area.
• Demonstrated ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Willingness to locate in or relocate to the greater Spokane‑Cheney area.
• Experience supervising student applied experiences such as practicum or internship.
